Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana debuted their label at Milan Fashion week in 1985. Dolce and Gabbana designs experimented with an array of materials such as wool, crochet lace and silks, which then transferred over to their lingerie lines that were later launched. The womenswear collections exuded femininity and romance. The companies second label, D&G was established in 1994 which took a contemporary approach to design and was targeted towards their cool and youthful consumers.
