It was this collection that first introduced the famous Bar jacket. From there, the fashion house was known for its use of luxurious fabrics, attention to detail and fine elements of craftsmanship. Influential designers such as Yves Saint Laurent, Gianfranco Ferre, John Galliano and Raf Simons have worked as artistic directors at Dior, each leaving their own unique legacy.
